Registration Deadline: March 19, 2020

We must RECEIVE your forms by the March 19, 2020 deadline (not postmarked, RECEIVED).

April 25, 2020 – Skills Exam – Brookhaven College, Dallas, TX

In response to the increasing number of cases and uncertainty domestically and around the world due to the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the April 25th CSR Skills Exam as a precaution to keep everybody as healthy and safe as possible.

Candidates who have submitted their applications for the skills exam to TCRA are being notified at this time. They have not been charged their registration fees for this test and will be required to resubmit new applications once another test date is set.

The Written Exam on April 18th will still continue as planned, if that changes due to ProctorU’s availability of proctors, we will notify you immediately.

At this time, we have not chosen another test date as we will have to work with school campuses and potential closures.

Dear Candidates, Court Reporting Professors, Family and Friends,
Please read the following reminders thoroughly.

Other than exam proctors or examinees waiting to register, there is to be no one waiting outside of the examination room or near the registration table. Each candidate may have one (1) person assist with setting up equipment during the allotted time for setup. After setting up, all guests will need to wait in another area in order to keep the noise level to a minimum. Guests will be informed when they may re-enter the exam room to assist with equipment after the exam is completed. No one may re-enter the exam room until ALL exams have been turned in. This is done in order to make the testing area as quiet and distraction free as possible. Please be courteous to those testing.
