By pursuing what was once a crazy “what if,” Isaiah Roberts made app-based live captioning a reality for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, now the first major music festival to tout live captioning on its roster of accessibility services. Isaiah will discuss the challenges faced and lessons learned in undertaking such a massive project and the ways in which you can weave your unique talents and personal interests into your role as a stenographer to leverage opportunity and launch your career beyond your imagination!

Isaiah Roberts, RPR, CSR
Currently a freelance reporter in Chicago, Illinois. Before attending Mark Kislingbury’s Academy of Court Reporting, Isaiah received his Bachelor’s in Marketing from Illinois State University. After graduating, Isaiah worked three years as an Official Reporter for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Illinois before transitioning into deposition and captioning work.
